BPGS Partners With The Wilmington Flower Market For The Third Year

May 10, 2019 1:56 pm

It’s been three years since BPGS Construction originally partnered with The Wilmington Flower Market, held in Rockford Park in Wilmington, DE. The Wilmington Flower Market Inc. is a tradition (now in its 99th year), a corporation and an all volunteer fundraising organization dedicated to improving the lives of Delaware’s children and the BPGS Construction crew couldn’t be more enthusiastic about donating their time and materials, year over year. This well-known tradition is held every Mother’s Day weekend, Thursday and Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 10am-7pm.

Most Delawarean’s are familiar with this annual event, but for the volunteers, it is a year’s worth of hard work and planning, topped off by a fun-filled three-day event at Rockford Park. The dedicated volunteers of Flower Market work with one goal in mind and that is to help make children’s dreams come true. BPGS role is installing the fencing around the beer garden and when you visit the Flower Market, you will feel the excitement — keep your eyes peeled BPGS’s signature kryptonite green fencing surrounding the beer garden. You’ll hear the ring of laughter in the air as children share their delight in all the carnival rides and games.  You’ll find a large selection of plants and flowers for your garden, as well as a multitude of crafts and merchant wares for sale. As you stroll through the park and listen to live music performed on the WSTW/WDEL stage, you’ll find a variety  of delicious food, and mingle with local celebrities.

Shout out to BPGS Construction’s, Superintendent Joe Libucki, Project Administration Manager, Monica Rizzo, Project Manager, Beau Broadbent, Project Engineer, Mike Ford, Project Coordinator, Brendan Callahan, and Superintendent, Vinnie Troise, for donating your time this year! Check out the BPGS crew in action as they erect this year’s fencing and notice how our signage has grown – much like the BPGS team.
